Overview of the GameSaver Line
The GameSaver line is designed specifically for outdoorsmen who package lots of fish and game, often in large batches. The focus is on prolonged operation without overheating. This is shown in the chart below under “Consecutive Seals”.
The manufacturer recommends that you wait 20 seconds between each seal. Once you reach the consecutive seal limit you allow 20 minutes for the machine to cool down before you resume processing.
Those longer running times also make these models a good choice for gardeners at harvest time, shoppers who like to buy in bulk to take advantage of sales, and anyone else who plans on prolonged periods of vacuum sealing. An added benefit is versatility. All of the GameSaver models include an accessory port and hose for external sealing. That makes these machines compatible with FoodSaver’s jar sealers and other storage containers, which are all sold separately.
